Masayuki Mizuno received a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from the Hokkaido University in 1997, and worked as part-time lecturer in the department of electro-mechanical engineering at Chiba University during 2003 to 2005.<\/p>\n

He engaged himself in researches on heat transfer and developments of thermal design technology for furnaces, heat exchangers and the other thermal equipment at IHI Corporation in Japan during 1990 to 2018. Among them, a regenerative heat exchanger that he deeply involved at IHI has been equipped with Japanese experiment module, “Kibou”, in the International Space Station(ISS), and is orbiting the earth. Also, in a study on multi-tubular reactor, he received Technical Achievement Award from Heat Transfer Society of Japan in 2015.<\/p>\n

Masayuki Mizuno is working as project coordinator at New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO) in Japan from 2018, and is joining IEA Bioenergy Task 32 from 2018.<\/p>\n
