He is now a Research Scientist at SINTEF Energy Research.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"plat\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">He has a broad background in heat engineering and thermochemical biomass conversion processes in general,\u00a0with special emphasis on biomass combustion. Main research topics are emission formation and reduction in combustion (NO<sub>x<\/sub>, N<sub>2<\/sub>O, CO, C<sub>x<\/sub>H<sub>y<\/sub> and particles) and fundamentals of\u00a0thermochemical biomass conversion technologies. This includes both\u00a0experimental work, from single wood particles to wood logs, and modelling work (empirical, chemical kinetics, CFD).
