The workshop presented the results of recent R&D in improvement of small scale biomass combustion systems. Reduction of aerosols from small scale
combustion remains a key priority, and the presentations in this workshop showed that significant progress can be achieved with regard to the current technology status.

The workshop was organized as part of the IEA Bioenergy Conference by IEA Bioenergy Task 32.
